Morning Frost

to try your best,
sometimes isnt enough.
it becomes a greater test,
to a love thats too rough.

believe in my word,
youll hear me again.
a saying you've heard,
when sadness will begin.

a kiss from his lips,
a touch of her fingers.
arms around her hips,
its a memory that lingers.

i always want you near,
as close as i could try.
but to me the greatest fear,
is the day you say goodbye.

late in the night,
staring at the moon.
wishing with all my might,
the moment i see you soon.

living day by day,
a feeling that im lost.
the harsh words that you say,
colder than a morning frost.

ok, so this one i actually wrote before.i was on my phone waiting for a friend while listening to some john mayer and i felt inspired. yea i listen to john mayer. so what? dont fucking judge me. anyway, a song that really caught my attention was heartbreak warfare by john mayer. its a cool breakup song that i really like because he goes through explaining how he's dealing with the breakup and what he feels about her after. you guys should check it out. which leads me to the question that you probably dont give a shit about but ill ask anyway. would you ever consider taking back someone who broke your heart? i rather not talk about this one much in my personal life but ill share my views on it.

a part of me wants to run back to the person. i just want everything to go back to the way it was and we could forget this whole mess. half of me wants that happily ever after ending. but another half of me says no. the damage they caused is irreparable, there is no turning back. but you miss that person so much that you would do anything to just smell their scent or feel their skin. on the other hand, your doing better without them, youve moved on, the past will stay past. they were just another person in your life. the list goes on and on. your torn between choosing whether to relive the past or construct a new future. what do you do?
